Vice President, Insurance and Loans Services

Ottawa - Our client is a significant and rapidly growing organization based in Ottawa and operating around the world. A premier lending and insurance provider to small and medium enterprises, it is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to be their new Vice-President Insurance and Loans Services.

Reporting to the SVP & CFO, you will champion the continued evolution and improvement of the Claims and Recoveries function while providing dynamic leadership in the administration of financing and loan activities. Experienced in the strategic visioning and tactical direction of policy, program and systems initiatives, you will provide the management acumen that is aligned with, and contributes to, the business growth and evolving practices that are representative of this organization.

An outstanding professional with a proven track record of distinguished achievements in a fast-paced, changing environment, you possess a business-related degree and have held substantive management roles involving high volume transactional operations. As the successful candidate, you will also possess superior communication and interpersonal skills to mentor and guide a diverse and multi-talented 60-member staff complement. With a passion and commitment to continuous improvement you will thrive in a growing, intellectually challenging and changing environment that results in 'best in class' practices and an industry service leader status. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both official languages will be a prerequisite for this role.
